Fancy (sartorial) footwork for Pippo.

According to Velo news, Pippo Pozato could ride with Peter Sagan next season. The eclectic Italian rider could be a good fit into the eclectic world of Oleg Tinkov... as long as he wins. A change to a new team could reignite the talented Italian classics rider. What peaked my interest was what Lampre team manager, Brent Copeland comments about Pozzato's professional attitude...

'What's not good is his attitude towards the team. He is not respectful of his teammates, or the team's internal rules. He cannot wear his own shoes at will, while all the other use shoes with team's colors. We do not need prima donnas, we just want racers who act professionally and show their talent.'

If he does ride with Tinkov and win, I'm sure Oleg couldn't care less what shoes he wears.

In other interesting transfer news...

Going down under.

One of the best moves, in my opinion, is today's news from ORICA-GreenEDGE signing Spanish climber, Amets Txurruka from Caja Rural. He is 32  his vast climbing experience will benefit and help the Yates twins and Esteban Chaves to bigger and better (and hopefully) to grand tour success.

‘It's a real dream come through for me to start this next chapter of my career. I've had a great time at Caja-Rural-RGA and I have a lot to thank them for, but joining ORICA-GreenEDGE is a once in a life time chance that couldn't be missed.”
“It's easy to see that it's a team with incredible unity and a great atmosphere where goals are defined and met together as a team. I would like to be able to help achieve those goals wherever the team can use me and see my work contribute to the team's results.”

Chapeau! goes to Sergio Henao.

Strong attack by super climber Sergio Henao, with the help from teammate Mikel Nieve, to take stage 6 of the Tour of Poland. He also takes over the leaders jersey going into tomorrow's final stage 7... the deciding 25 km TT!

GC:
1. Sergio Henao (Col) Team Sky
2. Diego Ulissi (Ita) Lampre-Merida  at same time
3. Bart De Clercq (Bel) Lotto-Soudal at 10 secs

Tour of Utah...

Ben King is a hero, in yesterday's stage 4 he was out alone for
150 km plus and also endured a ugly crash. Tough as nails for sure.

Classic Cool, Sean Kelly 1988 Vuelta champion...

This classic man was also successful in the grand tours. In the Vuelta his record is:
1988 GC Champion, Points Classification: (1980. 1985, 1986. 1988). Stage wins: 16.
