Philippe Leleu (Wolber) had an extraordinary day in the saddle. The solo winner of the 20th stage, 1983 Tour de France with more than 9' in advance over second place Jean Louis Gauthier (9'17") on the longest stage of the race, 291km Morzine-Dijon @ 7h 22'58".
