Strade Bianche: Monument Status

Road marker for 3-time champion Fabian Cancellara.

Entering Monument status (250km) is Saturday’s Strade Bianche. The men’s race over the white roads of Tuscany is both beautiful and exciting to watch and noteworthier for 2024. This year’s edition is the longest, from 184km to 215km and four added gravel sections. The overall gravel sections is 15 instead of 11, total of 71.5km.

Defending champion, Tom Pidcock will be back

Champion over the cobbles was Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle; Paris-Roubaix 1992-93.
