Paul Magnier gives Soudal Quick-Step's 45th win of the season. The Frenchman became the first rider to take three wins at a single edition since the race was created a decade ago and leads the GC ahead of the week's hardest stage. It was a close finish between Magnier and Ben Turner from Gospic to Rijeka, the Frenchman prevailed for a half a wheel after a burst of speed in the last 200 meters. It was Magnier's 13th victory and with his amazing second season in the pro ranks has him as the most successful French rider in the peloton.
