Stage 12: Bikes, Books, & Beers Podcast... End of the Season Edition

Stage12: from Bikes, Books & Beers on Vimeo.

The last podcast of the season and our thoughts are Christmas cheer and there's a reflective theme as we both present our four favorite books.

I showcase my selections: 'We Were Young & Carefree' by the late & great Laurent Fignon, 'Cycling's Golden Age' from the Horton Collection, 'Col Mythiques du Tour de France' by the archives and writers of the famous sports newspaper L'Equiqe, & 'Paris-Roubaix: A Journey Through Hell' from our friends at Velopress.

Guy showcases his picks: 'Tour de Lance' by Bill Strickland, "Le Tour' by Geoffrey Wheatcroft, 'Tour de France' by Graham Fife, & 'The Spring Classics' again from our friends at Velopress.

Christmas is festive and I sport Galstudio's handmade & very comfortable, 'Winter with the Gentleman Cycling Cap. Now on sale & I firmly believe the best winter cap companion for your chilly days ride.

The trusty fridge has always been there for us and I present two tasty treats from Québec's Brasserie McAuslan; St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout & the Scotch Ale.

And, there's more, we both reveal our highlight(s) for the past cycling season...

So sit back and enjoy our last podcast of the season ... & we look forward to return after a Christmas break for season two!

Those beers look very tasty. You guys always come up with the obscure brews that we just can't get in Europe. I'm jealous.

P.S Richard, nice Castelli jacket!
