Philippe Gilbert beat Allesandro Ballan & Damiano Cunego to take the Montepaschi Strade Bianche in impressive fashion. Clearly the strongest over the white roads of Tuscany, the Belgian classics specialist looks formidable.
He played it smart and towards the last corner through the narrow streets of Siena, took the inside line from Ballan and darted to victory.
The man to beat in the upcoming classics? Hard to imagine who can beat him!
