BOOM!

For Wouter!

I believe that was the word off Jonathan Vaughters twitter page after Tyler Farrar rocked it to win stage 3!

Another amazing performance from the Garmin Cervelo team driving their main man, Farrar to his first Tour stage victory. Garmin had their group of pilot fish out in front and executed a wonderful victory. Their sprint school was open and full marks go to their lead out men; Millar, Dean and yellow jersey Hushovd for a great lesson.

Farrar finished it and Rojas (third) and a fast charging Feillu (2nd) could only challenge the American sprinter. Sebastian Hinault was fourth but Cavendish placed fifth trailing in. The Manxman complained that Feillu rode dangerously and called him ...Kamikaze. Tomorrow will be another stage, I'm sure, with more dramatics.

The Garmin train elected to enjoy their early success, and Farrar flashed a classy 'W' sign with his two hands in tribute to his late friend Wouter Weylandt. A classy win for the classy sprinter!
