EPIC!
(Riccardo Scanferia)
During the last few kilometers, the Irishman shook off a stubborn Peter Sagan and moved past Wout Poels, in the rain, for victory. Martin showed his class and climbing strength on the 207km hilly course. Throw in gloomy, rainy weather it made for an epic finish. Martin made 13 seconds on Sagan and stands as the new leader with a three seconds advantage. Tomorrow's stage will be the deciding one to cap off this exciting Tour of Poland.
The Irishman is the leader by only three seconds from Sagan and Marco Marcato. Three seconds? Will Peter Sagan will be looking to take the time bonuses for a come from behind victory?... not if defending champion Dan Martin can help it!
