Evans admitted he still has plenty of room for improvement before the Tour starts on June 30 but he really peaks when the Tour rolls in.
For the man who will be a Tour contender, Bradley Wiggins walloped the TT and remains the Dauphine leader. The good test is coming up with the last three stages in the mountains. Tomorrow's stage 5 will scale for the first time, the Col du Grand Colombier (17.4km @ 7.2%, 1501 meters).
