Yukiya Arashiro: An Execution in Riding & Greipel Wins

Yukiya Arashiro is the worthy winner of the most aggressive rider.
Tomorrow, he will wear the special red number.

Longest stage, so far, was today's Stage 4, a 214 km romp from Abbeville to Rouen.

Rouen is where Joan of Arc was executed in 1431. I'm not going to write about that piece of French history. So I'll switch attention to the 'execution' by Europcar's Yukiya Arashiro, the only Japanese rider in the race.

At the start of the gun Arashiro attacked and was followed by David Moncoutie and Anthony Deplace.
The aggressive Arashiro was the first and picked up 20 pts when the trio crossed the day's intermediate sprint. And with 200 kms alone, the trio was caught by the peloton. For Yukiya Arashiro, his day was
meritorious... he was named the day's most combative rider!

Chapeau!

Full results.

Andrei Greipel, along with the best sprint train in the race, won stage 4!
