The Winning (Green)EDGE

Orica GreenEDGE adds to their WIN account, today, with two back to back stage victories in Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico.

The weather couldn't be different, sun in Saint-Vallier and rain in Indicatore. Both stages ended with exciting sprinting. Matt Goss finally gets a win blasting to victory after a great lead out. When I say finally wins, his last victory was last year in the Giro. So, with Milan-San Remo 10 days away, Goss must be lining his ducks in a row for a stab at Milan-San Remo. The Aussie harley effectively closed the door from favorites; Cavendish and Greipel.

As you watch the finish, Gerald Ciolek just missed out finishing third. The MTN Qhubeka team is the first African cycling team in the pro peloton and with time, sprinter Ciolek will win their first WorldTour victory.

The day couldn't be better for GreenEDGE, Michael Albasini stormed his way past Maxim Iglinskiy to win stage 4 Paris-Nice. Andrew Talansky finished with the group and keeps the yellow jersey going into tomorrow's massive climb to la Montagne de Lure.
