That's A Double!

"The adrenaline's going. I'm
really happy to have won today."
-Tyler Farrar

Ryder Hesjedal's bid for a second Giro title is gone but in it's place are two solid back to back team wins.

The winning edge is back at Garmin Sharp. Ramunas Navardauskas won stage 11 of the Giro on a crafty breakaway. And to cap off the day, Tyler Farrar won stage 4 of the Amgen Tour of California beating back tough sprinters; Ken Hanson (2nd) and Gianni Meersman (3rd).

In the case of the Giro, Jonathan Vaughters mentioned, Plan B. Just go for stage wins and forget the GC.

DS, Bingen Fernandez said, "That's racing. The riders are human. We cannot program what we'd like to happen. We have to change the way we think about this Giro. We have a strong team. We can still take something out of this Giro."

Putting a positive spin on a negative... Garmin Sharp is back on the winning road!
