What makes the Tour?

The riders, organization and fans, of course! Without them, the Tour wouldn't be as exciting. Surely, it is the world's largest open air free stadium the size of France and Corscia (in this 100th edition). If you are lucky to live along the route, you have it made. Most of us would make the planned trip, (long distance to us on the west coast) like these two in the photo above, and to keep it simple is the best way to go. Chapeau to the fans!

A more than great day for him and Sky!





The marvelous ride by Nairo Quintana gave him
the Henri Desgrange Prize. He won 5000 Euros!




He dedicated his fantastic exploit to his fellow countryman,
Mauricio Soler.
"I'd like to tell him thanks. He's ill and I want to offer
my best wishes to him."
