Le Tour: Cue In The Pavé!

Time to get scared!

I like what the Tour de France organizers have done to include some of infamous pave of Paris-Roubaix. A huge stage awaits from cycling's historical race will be played out tomorrow. I'm actually very glad that it's a go and temptation is to cheer on the classic specialists: Vansummeren, Cancellara and Sagan come to mind. Rain is in the forecast and delightful as it sounds, for the fans, the riders will have to contend with the slippery pave. But, added pressure is directed to the GC riders where there will be many losing time. Chris Froome will be especially tender after falling on today's stage. There will be many riding the pave for the first time such as: Andrew Talansky and Vincenzo Nibali.

The race of truth is tomorrow!

Stage 5: Ypres (Belgium) 156 km- Arenberg Porte du Hainaut. Nine sections of Pavé.

"The enthusiasm is still there because that keeps you going and you get good legs out of it. It will be different. Normally Roubaix you say, 'Don't show yourself, don't go in any breaks' but this time it will be 'show yourself'... 'kill yourself' - I mean the legs - and bring the boys home."

- Bernie Eisel, SKY

"The weather is forecast is bad. If it is dry, it was already a complicated stage, with rain it will be like a skating rink. Tomorrow is a day to cross your fingers and hope that everything goes well."

- Alberto Contador
