Take that!
La Vuelta, Stage 16 was the Queen stage with 5 mountain climbs. It was both exciting and bizarre.... mano a mano style. Firstly, Gianluca Brambilla (Omega Pharma) and Ivan Rovny (Tinkof Saxo) had a old fashion fist fight. Then it escalated with shoving and pushing with Rovny pushing Brambilla off the side of the road. I'm glad no one was seriously injured. Apparently, they argued about who was supposed to be setting the pace, I've never seen anything like this during a race. Later in the race, the two combatants were disqualified.
Meanwhile, Alberto Contador shook off Chris Froome to extend his overall lead.
No fisticuffs involved just good old fashion racing.
