Cervinia sparks great memories for me. Three years ago, on stage 14, Ryder Hesjedal reclaimed the maglia rosa with his gutsy ride and to history. Yesterday's stage 18 gutsy ride moved the resurgent Canuck into ninth overall. Perhaps no closer to wearing the maglia rosa, but Hesjedal is riding with plenty of savy guts and glory towards GC honors.

Danielle Colli's horribly broken arm is on the mend. He's out of hospital and now plans to take action against the amateur photographer who caused his crash.
