Panzerwagen Power

What an epic stage. After a crazy crash filled stage 3 it was time for the mini Paris Roubaix stage. After the final cobblestone section, Tony Martin flatted and changed bikes with Matteo Trentin. What team work!

"Changing the bike, with the wrong position, I was just thinking to finish the stage. Suddenly, five kilometers from the finish, I just decided to give it a chance and to go for it, and somehow I found some power and I made it."

- Tony Martin

He just rode a super TT for the last 3km for a great performance and wears the yellow jersey... pure panzerwagen power.

Fab Five after stage 4: 2. Froome (12:40:38), 3. Van Garderen (.25), 8. Contador (.48), 12. Nibali (1:50), 17. Quintana (2:08).

France's favorite: Thibaut Pinot loses 3 minutes due to a mechanical, 30th (6:30)

Here's Backstage Pass, post cobbles edition...

Ryder Hesjedal: 77th place on today's stage. Now 45th (9:47).
