Today's stage 3 had a nasty crash that took out Jean-Christophe Peraud. On his Giro debut at the age of 38 he's forced to abandon. And he also becomes the first rider to abandon. But, there's good news as Marcel Kittel continues his sprinting mastery and makes it 2 for 2 and wears the Maglia Rosa into Italy.
