Over Thanksgiving lunch, my in law, Richie said to me in about six weeks, winter should hit and this fact rang alarm bells in my head that I had better ride when I can. I did so on today's ride out to Spencerville. This morning was a chilled 4C, clear skies with a cold breeze. Perfect for the usually winter gear; oversocks, neck warmer, leg warmer, winter jacket, FRFuggitivi team gilet and the new prototype winter cap from Red Dots Cycling. I've heard many good things about Autumn riding here in the Ottawa Valley and today was a picturesque look into why this is my favorite season...
