Stelvio Pass

Stunning: The famous hairpins.

The Stelvio Pass is a true iconic climb. First introduced in the 1953 Giro d'ltalia Il Campionissimo, Fausto Coppi made his attack and broke race leader, Hugo Koblet to take the maglia rosa and secure his fifth and final Giro victory. It is the highest mountain pass in Italy and given the rightful name, Cima Coppi. The Stelvio Pass has made 11 appearances and this year's centenary edition route honored the great Il Campionissimo.
