Friday File: Rusty Worlds

Michael Woods will lead the Canadian Men's Road Team in Innsbruck. His win on stage 17 in the Vuelta will give him and his teammates that extra boost of confidence to go big time in climber friendly Austria. I believe the course is suited for him and while the contenders will be looking at each other, Woods can escape and pull it off. I'll be rooting for him.

"Mike Woods has proven the ability to be among the best in tough one-day races like Liege and climbing stages in both the Giro and Vuelta. Mike will get strong support from his teammates: everyone is pretty excited about our chances and committed to riding as a galvanized team."
- Kevin Field, Team Canada manager.
