It's about to arrive. There's one week before the start to the much anticipated Belgian opening weekend; Omloop Het Nieuwsblad followed by Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne. The character is truly flandrien. Flat cobbles, sharp hills, sharp cobbled hills and often ill weather. In my opinion, the true start to the cycling season!
