"We were lucky that three guys from the breakaway were still at the front. I only had to match Lafay and Eiking in the sprint. I go a gap to Eiking. I'm not as explosive as he is. Luck was on my side. There were only two seconds, not more. It's a nice stage race to add to my list of victories. Pro Series are of a high level. I've very happy with this win. I didn't come for anything less."

"It's a big thing for me to win the climber's jersey in the Arctic Race of Norway. It's my first time up here. It's good for our team to get such a result. We showed ourselves how good we can ride together. 500 kilos of salmon (the prize for the KOM), we have to split it! It's too much for myself. It's never bad to win a jersey and I hope it'll be a career booster for me."
