Tro Bro Léon: Mr. Consistent

The new 2023 poster with best Breton, Laurent Pichon and the iconic piglet

The Tro Bro Léon organization has put Laurent Pichon in the spotlight for the new 2023 poster. The Breton rides for Arkea-Samsic and participated eleven times in this great race on unpaved roads in Brittany. Traditionally, the poster depicts a rider with a pig. The pig is also the prize for the winner of the Breton prize. This time artist Jean-Paul Mellouet has not chosen the recent winner, Hugo Hofstetter.

"Pichon was competing for the win, until a few kilometers before the finish he got a flat tire on the ribin du chateau. For the third time he was the best rider from Brittany, and I think he is the most consistent rider in Tro Bro Léon history. He crossed the finish line eleven times, so he deserves this recognition."
-Jean-Paul Mellouet

I enjoy this race and rank this with the best classics over uneven terrain (Paris-Roubaix and Strade Bianche). And I admire and look forward to the new poster from artist, Jean-Paul Mellouet!

Watch the mayhem and stick around towards the end as Laurent Pichon will receive the prized piglet.
