Isabella Holmgren is the new UCI Women's Junior World Champion MTB XC. Fellow Canadian Marin Lowe takes silver. Holmgren makes Canadian cycling history also winning the world junior CX championships in January. She finished 8th in the road race on Saturday.
“It’s crazy, it was very fun, it still doesn’t feel real. I really like the course and the climbing, and because Ava wasn’t able to race, I just raced extra hard for her.”
