Stage 17: Alto de L'Angliru:

Tomorrow's stage 17 will be the riders nightmare - Alto de L'Angliru! It's debut in 1999, the Angliru hosted stage finishes seven times since then. The most recent was in 2020 conquered by Hugh Carthy during Covid without crowds present. Before the riders suffer they'll have two appertizer Cat.1 climbs: Colladiella and Cordal. But, the Angliru will even be the ultimate decider with up to 25% gradients…stage 17 will be a GC game changer.
