"It's a perfect way to finish the week with the team. I'm super happy with my win. In the last kilometer, I knew I was the fastest in the group so it's a perfect way to end for us and also in the GC with Ben. Our goal is the Giro, so this week was to finish the preparation for that and now we go to the Giro with ambition."
-Aurelien Paret-Peintre gave Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale's 10th win of 2024.

Liege-Bastogne-Liege is legendary. First raced in 1892, running between Liege and Bastogne and passing through the forested mountains of Wallonie, Belgium. The men will race 254.5 kilometers starting and finishing in Liege. The women go to the hardest climbs on the 152.9km run from Bastogne to Liege. The famous hills such as Stockeu and Redoute are infamously steep roads reaching high plateaus with freezing wind to batter the riders in the Ardennes. Not for the faint of heart.

"It is hard, long, and normally cold, so only for the tough riders in the peloton. Our ambition is to win the race, as simple as that."
-Ben Healy. The Irish national champion finished fourth at 2023 LBL.

"We are a very good team. Riders like Rigo and Harry and James bring a lot of experience. Ben feels very good. It's going to be a very hard race. Our ambition is to win!"
-Richard Carapaz
