I was cheering for Jhonatan Narvaez to upset the sprinters
Jhonatan Narvaez dared the impossible with his daring late raid wanting a second stage in the Giro d'ltalia. He attacked on the final climb of the day, with a lead of seconds downwards into Naples. I was cheering him on as his lead grew slightly as he entered the final kilometres, but it was not to be, as Olav Kooij taking the stage win.
"I was just 15 metres short. It's still a disappointment because I came so close. But that's cycling. And well, in every sport, this happens. Sport teaches you to be a fighter, every day, and all the more so in a Grand Tour."
