Derek Gee: 9th on GC, looking to take back some time tomorrow
Tomorrow is Stage 3, a 15.6 km time trial in Ourense. It will not be flat, as halfway through the race the riders will be challenged by the Alto de Sabadell (4.9km at 5.7%). This ITT will be key for the fight for the overall classification.
“The boys were amazing all day. They gave me the best shot to give it a go on the final climb. UnoX managed their numbers well to bring us back, but I’m happy with the legs going into the TT tomorrow and I’m really looking forward to the rest of the race.”
-Derek Gee
Stage 3: Significant uphill.
