Exact Cross Mol: Alvarado storms her way to victory

 

Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado claimed a resounding first victory of the season mastering the sand and wintry conditions at the Exact Cross Mol. Persistence and commitment gave her the edge over the rest as she crossed the line alone for a hard earned victory.

“I think it’s a very nice one, of course, wth my late-season start and then all the injuries and bad luck I had so far, but I was riding today with a good feeling and no back issues. The conditions surprised me a little bit; it mad it also hard seeing the lines in the sand with all that snow, but I think it’s an extra.”

Mathieu van der Poel took on and conquered the snow to solo to his eight win of the season at Exact Cross Mol, after Wout van Aert crashed out at the seventh lap. Toon Aerts took second with Felipe Orts in third way down on Van der Poel.
