La Vuelta: GOAT takes stage 2, Gee GC for the Giro

Marianne Vos (Visma Lease a Bike) has won stage two of the Vuelta Femenina, the 256th success of her incredible career. The tricky finale, where the slippery Spanish roads led to multiple crashes. Vos was perfectly led out by her teammates and executed the finish with clinical precision. Ellen van Dijk lost her leader's jersey to Letizia Paternoster.

"It was Pauline Ferrand-Prevot and Imogene Wolff still with me, and it was amazing just to follow their wheels and to be able to get to the last corner in front due to their work. Yes, it was slippery, but being in the front is then the best position."
