Today as our Frfuggitivi group rode to Steveston we passed the beautiful Richmond Olympic Oval. Quite striking, it was the speed skating venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics. It houses two Olympic-sized ice rinks and was also used as the anti-doping lab for the Olympics. Most interesting, Guy mentioned to me that he heard news that it may be a future home to a velodrome. If this is true then I'm crossing my fingers!
