At the summit...
A legacy from the winter olympics.

Yesterday I had a small window for a ride and I took advantage of it going up Cypress Mountain. It was cool almost looking like it was going to storm but it never did (thankfully). It was cold as I reached the summit - no hikers, nobody except for the odd road crew, I guess the cool weather kept them away except for me. It's a long steady climb (15km, 5%) and I found it less steep than Mt. Seymour, almost better in a way. I was very glad to have my new Louis Garneau toe warmers and gilet for the scenic but cold descent...
