Kevin of Raiment-Bicycle Life in Vancouver recently wrote this ... '10 Wonderful, Local Winter Cycling Caps' article. I wish to thank Kevin for his kind words and we are very proud to be associated with Raiment with continue success. And, I like what he said about my 1987 Marinoni...

PS.  When you run into Richard or see his beautiful 1987 Marinoni steel lugged restoration rolling around, I'm sure he would be happy to share the story of its incredible transformation.

It's true. If you bump into me on the roads, (hopefully you don't get hurt), I'm more than happy to talk about my M's restoration. In fact, Barry is in the process of having his steel Marinoni re-painted by Simone of Cycles Marinoni. Further updates on Barry's M Project upcoming.

Merckxs drilled world hour record Colnago

Eddy Merckx was obsessed about his bikes... fanatical.

Eddy's wife, Claudine added, "It is a cliche, but Eddy was and is always obsessed with bikes. I've known him get out of bed in the middle of the night on more than one occasion and go into the garage to change something on his handlebars or his saddle or gears or something like that. Even when Eddy bumps into a touring cyclist, he starts to chat with him about his position on the bike."

The reference is to his 1972 Colnago world hour record bike in which he and his technicians drilled like swiss cheese to save weight.
