To me the cycling season starts with the Spring Classics on Feb. 27 with Omloop Het Nieuwsblad followed a day after with Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne. Make no mistake, these two Belgium classics are plenty prestigious coveted by the world's one-day specialists. Understandable they're upstage by the great monuments races but, to me, they mean a lot starting classics season with plenty of exciting racing!
