A fantastic Giro for Lotto-Soudal as they made it back to back wins with Andre Greipel winning stage 5 and today, Tim Wellens victorious in Roccaraso. It's been 29 long years since the Giro visited the mountain top when Moreno Argentin last won. For the 25 year old Belgian, Tim Wellens put in a fantastic performance to score his first Grand Tour stage victory and he also joins previous Roccaraso winners: Fausto Coppi and Bernard Hinault.
