Friday File: Rio Men's Road Race, Snazzy New Kits & Classic Signing

The new Rio Colombian kit.

The Men's Olympic road race is tomorrow and 144 riders will line up for what I hope to be an exciting race. It's hard to predict who will covet the gold, silver or bronze. There is a handful of elite of riders that will be in the final mix. So, I'm going to predict one rider that has a strong 4-man support group for the hilly parcours... Rigoberto Uran. He was the surprised silver medalist in 2012. Basically flew under the radar for second place. Seventh in the Giro and skipped the Tour for the bigger treasure in Rio. His team is a climber's dream team: Esteban Chaves, Sergio Henao, Miguel Lopez and Jarlinson Pantano. Gold for Rigo!

My two picks for favorite cycling kit:

Team Canada trio for Saturday: Antoine Duchesne, Hugo Houle, Michael Woods will sport the new Louis Garneau retro designed kit.

1984 Olympics, Steve Bauer (silver medal) wearing the stylish Louis Garneau jersey...

Denmark also has a good looking kit...

 A major classics signing...

Sep Vanmarcke to Cannondale-Drapac.
