Steven Kruijswijk almost pulled it off today going solo for 70km. I watched as he tackled two HC climbs in the Alps and I wanted him to take the stage. What a ride!

Sad that Vincenzo Nibali has left the race due to a fracture vertebrae. But what a ride to finish... imagine if he did not crash.
