It's always satisfying to watch a relatively no-name pro racer upset the bigger names of cycling. That's what happened in this edition of Nokere Koerse. Ludovic Robeet won the 75th edition of Nokere Koerse breaking away from his companion, Damien Gaudin for an expected success.
"Normally I have to do the job for the sprint but today I was ahead. I still had a really good feeling on the last lap, I had to try something. I tried and it worked. I'm so happy because I never come for the win.
During the last two kilometers, I felt the joy of being all alone in front and telling myself, 'it's possible, I will finally be able to win'."
