Italian gallop into Reggio Emilia

"I just tried to stay relaxed and follow the guys as best I could, they did a great job. It's insane that Romain who's sitting third on GC gave me a lead out into the last corner. That shows how much we really work as a team. In the sprint, I was a bit boxed in, in the middle, but then I found a gap on the left and went full to the line and could come past everyone.

Pro cycling is not like you see when you just watch it on television. It's hard. You never think you can beat the greatest sprinters but now I've shown it's possible."
-Alberto Dainese took Italy's first stage win in this Giro.
