The GOAT gets his stage win and is the oldest stage winner of the Giro at 38.

"I was just there and saw Cavendish only had Luis Leon Sanchez, so I thought: let's help a brother out."

-Geraint Thomas. A worthy lead-out man for Cavendish.

Stage 21 final standings

Super Best Combative rider! Without a doubt.

Derek Gee had a great Giro. Four seconds, two fourths for his Grand Tour debut that was astounding. The Canadian finished second overall in the KoMs, second overall in the sprints, second overall in the intermediate sprints, and 22nd overall. And was second overall in kilometers spent in breaks, a fan favorite!
