La Vuelta: Kung, Roglic Tour of Britain: King Williams


Stefan Kung (Groupama-FDJ) took his first Grand Tour stage victory in the closing ITT of La Vuelta, with a time of 26'28" to cover 24.6km in Madrid. No one was close to the Swiss, who gave his team their first Grand Tour stage win since 2022. Primoz Roglic sealed a historic fourth overall win after his successes in 2019, 2020 and 2021. He ties Robert Heras for four Vuelta a Esapana wins. Runner-up Ben O'Connor makes history with the best Australian result in the Spanish Gran Tour while Enric Mas steps on the podium for the fourth time in his career.
