TdF stage 11: Abrahamsen the wonderboy

Four weeks after breaking his collarbone at the Tour of Belgium, Jonas Abrahamsen wins his maiden stage on the Tour. Tomorrow the race heads into the Pyrenees and then to the Alps, and Pogacar and Vingegaard will be the focus once again, but the victory of Abrahamsen and Uno-X is the story, a day reserved for the smaller, courageous and aggressive teams, where panache is everything.

"I broke my collarbone four weeks ago in the Belgium Tour, I was crying in the hospital because I thought I wasn't riding the Tour de France. The day after I was on the home trainer and hoping I could go to the Tout. Every day, I did everything I could to come back. I've been working so hard for this int he lat three years, this breakaway project. Today I got in the break and then I finally go my stage win. So, to be here having won a stage of the Tour de France is amazing."
-Jonas Abrahamsen, Uno-X Mobility

"It's amazing, unbelievable. This was our goal and now we've reached our goal. Jonas is an absolute wonderboy."
-Christian Andersen, sports director.
