French national champion Dorian Godon took the Italian semi-classic, 106th Coppa Bernocchi, outsprinting Tobias Lund Andresen to the line in Legnano. It was the 25th victory for Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale this season.
"I love the Italian races at the end of the season with their punchy profiles. It was a bit hard at the beginning of the day, my legs were sore after the Coppa Agostini, but they loosened up, and I felt better."

The women's edition of Tre Valli Varesine came to a dramatic finale with Demi Vollering and Elisa Longo Borghini, battling the final hour of racing. In a sprint, the Italian champion was crowned the winner over the European champion.
In the men's edition, Tadej Pogacar was on another level, victorious in Tre Valli Varesine. He wins his final preparation race ahead as the overwhelming favorite for record-equalling fifth victory in Race of Falling Leaves.
