Stage 2: A 130.7 km stage from Magill to Paracombe raced in extreme heat and constant attacking. On the final climb, FDJ United Suez tried to marked any attacks as defending champion Noemi Ruegg (EF Education Oatly) launched first in the sprint. It was Ally Wollaston coming past Ruegg for her second win of the race and strengthen her hold on the overall lead. Josie Nelson finished the podium in third. Tomorrow is the demanding finale with two ascents of the Corkscrew climb which will decide the winner.
